PMG’s Work Abroad Program offers USA jobs to international students, providing an opportunity to work in cities like in Houston, Texas.

While in Houston you can visit the NASA space center and other historic museums. In the Downtown Houston Theatre District there is live music, night clubs and restaurants that cater for all tastes. Houston is less than one hour away from the beautiful beaches of Galveston Island with its Amusement parks, Shopping and Boardwalk.

Houston is America’s 4th largest city and Aquatic Management of Houston manages pools in the Northern and Western suburbs of the city. Houston is also home Houston Astro’s Baseball team who played in the 2005 world series.

Work Details for Houston, Texas

Guaranteed hours per week: 50 until August 22(average)  After August 22 the (average) hours will be 35 per week

Average pay rate including overtime and bonus: $8.48

Bonus:$0.50 per hour  worked. Paid at the end of the season

Earliest arrival: May 16

Latest Arrival: June 12

Last Day: September 26

Housing: Extended stay hotel or furnished apartment- $120 per week (includes utilities)

Second Job: Yes – as long as it does not interfere with Lifeguard hours

Transport: FREE -Company Shuttle or Bicycle up to 5km
