Lifeguard Training for Bulgarian and Macedonian Students
2010 Lifeguard Training Class Information
Cost: $200.00 US Dollars – includes Uniform and Lifeguard Certification. FULLY REFUNDABLE
- $200.00 will be refunded to the student at the end of summer as long as the student works through the end date of the employee agreement.
- We collect the money after the swim test but before the class begins in Sofia. Students who fail the swim test will be offered a place in a later class if one is available.
- If a student is denied a VISA after the student has passed the class we will refund $100.00 (less any fees) via Western Union money transfer.
- If a student fails the final lifeguard test at the end of the class we will refund $100.00 (99% of all students pass with no problem)

SKOPJE, Macedonia
Macedonian students are encouraged to travel to Sofia for training. There will be no training in Macedonia.
PMG offers the American Red Cross Lifeguard, First Aid and CPR certification course.
When you are hired at Job Fair we will give you all the information you need to attend and pass the class.
At the pool the instructors and students will perform the following activities.
- Swim Test
- Skills and Rescue practice and instruction.
- Final Testing with the written and practical exam.
- Issue the student with Certification confirmation. (after passing the class)
Details:
- We conduct the swim test before the lifeguard class begins.
- PMG will collect your $200.00 refundable deposit at the meeting after the swim test. After you begin the Lifeguard Class the refund is $100.00 if you quit or do not pass the class. YOU MUST RETURN YOUR LIFEGUARD TRAINING TEXT BOOK IN GOOD CONDITION AT THE END OF THE CLASS.
- The class is in English however you will have local students and former PMG Lifeguards to assist with translations.
- You should bring suitable swimwear, a swim cap, a towel, warm clothes and flip flops (pool shoes) each day. Sometimes you will stand on the side of the pool for a long time and you need to stay warm.
